I’m Fae, a mixed media artist who focuses on collage and multimedia artist based in California. My work explores themes of travel, rootlessness, and memory, shaped by my upbringing in a military family and my time studying abroad. I work primarily with found materials and text, creating layered compositions that reflect personal history and shifting senses of place. I studied at California State University, Stanislaus, receiving a BA in 2025.

Travel has deeply shaped the way I approach my work—not just in the places I’ve been, but in the act of moving itself. I studied abroad in France during high school and later in Italy while in college, and both experiences left a lasting imprint on how I see and collect the world around me. Whether crossing borders or shifting between homes, I’ve learned to notice what’s left behind and what’s carried forward. That sense of constant motion finds its way into my practice through layering, fragmentation, and the use of found materials. Each collage becomes a record of movement—physical, emotional, and cultural—mapping a journey that’s always unfolding.
